I will start with good sides and then, trying objectively list all issues, that should and could be fixed, if management still plans to keep prices on current level Pros: - higher than usual quality of furniture and equipment - location - inner design Cons: - poor communication and website functioning I needed to double check all steps of reservation, payment confirmation etc. Of course it appeared that booking through their website was wrong (what I managed to realize after couple of messages and calls, as no email confirmation have been received) and appartment was unavailable. Good news is that management decided to provide another, smaller one, but with a discount - wrong instructions on appartment location in a message . It is also worth mentioning, that these instructions I got after 2 reminders sent to the WhatsApp number. At the end, I found it, but moving further .. - the drain in a shower was completely out of order, what made impossible to take a shower, and photos of these disaster were sent immediately And, with 24/7 support, the answer I received next day around 10 am, that somebody will come and see. Till that time I have already bought by myself special gel for this kind of drain issues and wrote to management, that I will try to fix this because I need to take a shower anyway)) - the most interesting, is that I asked to prolong for 1 day the appartment as my circumstances changed, and taking into account all my troubles, I expected some discount. However, no answer was given and when I reminded, they answered that appartment already booked via website automatically by another customer (what is ridiculous, remembering my experience with absence of any kind of automatic confirmation or even emails) So, overall experience, due to small but numerous issues is bad. And definitely is not worth almost 300 eur per night. You can afford that level of service if your cost 70 euros, not 300.

Avoid at all costs!! If you want to go home to your apartment and enjoy a comfortable stay after a long day sightseeing, these apartments are NOT for you. The following is a list of all things that went wrong with Abieshomes apartments both at the Opera and Votivpark sites: 1. They made a mistake with our initial booking. Luckily I had emailed them before we arrived otherwise we would have arrived and had no where to go. To rectify they offered us an ‘upgrade’ to the Opera apartment. 2. When we arrived we were given two keys as the apartment had two locks. We left our luggage in the apartment, locked the apartment with both keys and went for a walk. Upon our return, one of the locks would not open. We tried ringing Abieshomes numerous times , however they did not answer. After about 40 minutes, we found a kind stranger from a nearby building who managed to open the door for us. 3. We were at the Opera apartment for 11 nights. We did not have a working TV for the entire time. They tried to fix but could not. 4. Five of those nights, we did not have a functional shower. We had to hold the shower head. In addition, there was no bath tub. Instead the shower was in a jacuzzi with an uneven surface which was extremely slippery and dangerous. 5. When we were to check in at the Votivpark apartment, we were assured everything would be perfect. Unfortunately the instructions they gave us to enter the building did not work! Luckily Sarah who works for Abieshomes was there and she let us in. 6. They only gave us two bath towels for an eight night stay. We had to request for more. 7. They have removed the heating/air conditioner remote control so to you cannot adjust the temperature to a level that is comfortable for you. 8. The water temperature is luke warm. If you want a nice hot shower, the Votivpark apartment is not for you. 9. There is no clothes dryer in the Votivpark apartment. The one in the Opera did not work. 10. Wi-Fi at the Votivpark was extremely slow or did not work at all. 11. Drainage in the shower was very slow. Each time we had a shower, it would take quite a while for the water to go down. 12. After two days, the shower flooded! 13. Cleanliness - what’s that? 14, Clearly they knew they were in the wrong and as compensation they offered us an extra night either before or after our reservation. How ridiculous! As tourists, we obviously have an itinerary and have planes to catch. We just add a day here and there! I have suggested to everyone I know to definitely NOT stay at these apartments. They will ruin your holiday. They certainly ruined ours! Again I stress AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

These rooms are Massive! They come with all the essentials such as a washing machine and full kitchen. Very well kept and super clean! Highly recommend staying here. Decent location not far from things. We walked everywhere!

Two major problems: hot, and noise/parties. We arrived at the property around 17:00 and successfully checked-in. In the apartment it was extremely hot. We turned on the air conditioning and went for a walk. Upon our returning (before putting our baby to sleep) the temperature in the bedroom was 27.7 degrees (we always have our thermometre with us), which is far from comfortable to sleep. Air conditioning was not functional in any of the areas. Apartment service was not able to help. The major issue however is related to the noise. At 21:30 neighbours (apartment rented by the same company) started a party. At 22:30 we became tired of the loud music and asked them to turn it off. Nothing changed. At 01:00 in the night there were groups of people (more than 20 people) drinking and smoking and laughing right outside our apartment door and balcony. They were rude, loud and were not respecting privacy of their neighbours. I asked them at 01:15 to end the party and go home. I was not able to contact apartment management all this time as their phone and chat were not replying. At 02:00 party was still on and I called the police. At 02:30 I got the call back from the police officer who told me they got more than 30 people out to the street from several apartments of the mentioned company and that those people are leaving. We only got "sorry for the noise" from the management. And they charge you as a 4 to 5 star hotel.

Prior to our arrival, we contacted the management a few times to arrange some details such as a late arrival (you must do this if you arrive after 10 pm) and round-trip transportation to/from the airport, which I recommend. Our emails were returned promptly and all of our questions were answered with courtesy. Sarah even helped arrange airport transfers for us. The apartment was clean and well-appointed. There was a washing machine in our apartment, however there was no dryer. I suggest the management considers installing a dryer. The water quality in Vienna is superior and we were able to drink directly from the tap (no bad smell or taste). The complimentary tea was greatly appreciated. I really loved the heated floor in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi was good for using Facebook. The bed was comfortable. It is located in a quiet area near Votivkirche. We felt safe and comfortable. After we checked out, management allowed us to leave our luggage while we waited on our transportation back to the airport. I would highly recommend Abieshomes Serviced Apartments Votivpark to couples or a small family. The only real negative was this room did not have a good view of anything. The windows faced into other buildings. I don't know if a room with a better view is available, but I would suggest you inquire about this if it is important to you.
